ANDREA D. CARTWRIGHT is the principal in the Cartwright Law Firm. P.C.; her office is located in Southfield, Michigan. She focuses her practice primarily in the area of Debtor/creditor relations, including chapter 7, chapter 13 reorganization. Ms. Cartwright received her B.A. in June 1993 from University of Detroit Mercy (magna cum laude). Her J.D. was earned at Detroit College of Law in January 1998 (cum laude). She is a member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, American Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Wolverine Bar Association and Straker Bar Association. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Hope United Methodist Church. She has regularly appeared as a guest on the program “Ask the Attorney” on Christian Radio 1200 AM.

LISA LIZANA SHORT, ESQ has been with the Cartwright Law Firm, P.C. since 2003. Her primary areas of practice include consumer bankruptcy, family, business and real estate law. Attorney Lizana Short is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 and received a Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in International Law from Detroit College of Law in 1998. She is a member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, Family Law Section of the Michigan Bar and the Oakland County Bar Association. As a member of Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, she on the Board of Directors of the WMBC Endowment Fund and is actively involved in its legal ministry.

KRISTIN SNYDER joined The Cartwright Law Firm as an Attorney in 2009 after running her own successful home based legal research business. Her prior experience in a collections law firm and with the Michigan Attorney General's office gives her insight into the creditor side of the bankruptcy process. She provides her clients with exceptional legal advice and respect throughout the process of filing a Chapter 7 or 13 Bankruptcy. She grew up in Michigan and graduated from Cranbrook in 1997. She then continued on to Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA earning her B.A. in 2001 and finished her education by earning her J.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2004. She is a member of the Michigan State Bar, the Consumer Bankruptcy Association and regularly attends bankruptcy seminars. She is admitted to the practice law in the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, as well as the Federal Courts. She is an active volunteer at First United Methodist Church and also regularly attends their services with her daughter.
